Join us out at the hill to take in the fresh, fall air on Saturday, October 19th from 10am-3pm at Tri-Norse Ski Club & Winter Park as we celebrate the annual Colorama event. A variety of local vendors will be set up across the base of the ski jumps. Included this year is complimentary face painting, by Cheeky Face Painting, and live music with Jimmy Lynch from 12-2pm, sponsored by Visit Rome. Raffle baskets available inside the chalet with a drawing at 2:30pm as well as our first annual chili cook-off, between Lake Arrowhead, Hoozels at the Lake, and Avocados. For $5 you can sample all 3 and then get a bowl of your #1 favorite. If you’re not a chili fan, you can enjoy a bowl of chicken noodle soup, hot chocolate or hot apple cider at the concessions stands. Take a hike around the trails or enjoy a courtesy ride to the base of the 55m ski jump, compliments of Sand Valley. Parking is free and bathrooms are available inside the chalet. Guests are welcome to bring their own ATV out as well, however we ask that you only drive in the parking area and access roads (in/out and adjacent to the hill) as our trails remain narrow and pedestrian friendly. The event is also dog friendly, but we kindly ask that they remain on their leash, outside of the chalet and as always, cleaned up afterwards.

We would also like to extend a HUGE thank you to Visit Rome and the crew that helped install our new handrail that leads to the top of the 55m scaffolding. We hope you have the nerves to check it out and take in the amazing view from the top.
